My name is Arlene Romanello, I am a junior at Lehman College. My major is in Social Work. I require to make this portfolio for my ENW 302, Sec A : Fiction Writing course. The portfolio contains all my hard work and dedication. It has my fiction pieces, my presentation with an attached reflection, a vlog and self assessment.The class incorporated reading, writing and analyzing contemporary fictions. Which I found a little difficult because my weakness, is my writing skills. Our class also, annotated each others creative writing pieces. We also gave constructive feedback to each other,

                My goals is to get my Bachelor and Master degree in Social Work. The way I have everything planned, I will graduate June 2021. I decided to change career in a later time of my life due to Failures. We should drop the word failure from our vocabulary. It’s misleading to think about our efforts in a strictly binary way- as either successes or failures.Which I reframed my failures as necessary steps on the path to learning and growth. I can hope for the best- and let that hope tell me what I need to do to make it happen.

                 My thoughts about my work in my class is pretty simple… I tried my best and will learn from my mistakes. We stop learning when we stop asking questions and looking for the answers. We never need to stop learning. I don’t think of learning as a formal education but as something I do every day. So I will always be learning.
